• Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and systematize existing literature and evidence about how the environment in Egypt operates in terms of its functions, successes, challenges and results based on the indicators to reflect on lessons learned, made investment recommendations and presented briefs on how best to leverage processes, to achieve outcomes in an integrated manner (i.e. research and development & adaptation in agriculture technologies, innovation and organization networks)
• Provided written analysis of a model for innovation systems and innovation approaches to benefit similar environments in the Middle East and to promote ongoing exchanges across geographies
• Met with scientists, project leaders, agricultural extension agents, farmers and federal, state and local government officials to understand key gaps in current policy
